National museum devoted entirely to the religious work of the painter Marc Chagall, also called "National biblical message Museum" because it brings together the series of seven canvases painted by Chagall illustrating biblical message, illustrating the Genesis, exodus, and the song of songs.
The Museum now has one of the largest groups of works by Marc Chagall.
Built by the architect André Hermant (1908-1978), former collaborator of Auguste Perret and Le Corbusier, the building and the gardens offer a climate of serenity, a kind of spirituality by Chagall at the Museum.
