Here's a park created in 1864, on the grounds of the former slaughterhouse, this initially called square L.Brougham square is renamed Frédéric Mistral square on December 3, 1963 in tribute to the famous poet provencal, founder of the félibrige movement.

You will find the presence of a Sequoia Sempervirens at the center of the square, of a rooster and a Jacaranda Ridge Erythrine.
The Statue of the poet Frédéric Mistral is located on the coast East of the square.
