La Malmaison hosts three major exhibitions of contemporary art each year by placing regularly in honour of painters such as Matisse, Ozenfant and Picasso, for which the French Riviera was an inexhaustible source of inspiration, as well as the artists of the 20th and 21st centuries known in international terms as Miró, Masson, Caesar and the Chinese painter Chu Teh-Chun.
